Hello! I, like everyone else this time of year, am suffering from Spring Break fever. I really want to go traveling, here are some trips I would love to go on this year:

(If I am vague, it is on purpose for security reasons! Never trust the internet )

Dinner at Holstein's at the Cosmo- Best burgers and shakes

tea at Mandarin Oriental- most exclusive and secretive, fancy

sugar factory drinks- LARGEST alcohol drinks besides those huge ones people carry around

Hotels of choice:
The Aria- best pool complex

The Cosmopolitan- fancy and most expensive

The Vdara- most room for your buck, no casino so smoke free :)

The Marriott Grand Chateau- also best deal for the money and also smoke free

The Bellagio-traditional and amazing

When I move to Orange County

So sadly I put on the calendar my last day as an intern in the summer, since I'll be moving to Orange County for business school!

Here's some of the things not school related that I would like to do once I get up there:

Shop at the District

This is the shopping center to end all shopping centers. Like the Mission Valley area where Ikea is located, this place has an IKEA, Costco, Target, Lowe's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods, a movie theatre, and all kinds of stores.

Visit Model Homes- Laguna Altura

My dad's career was home building, so I have been touring model homes since before I was born. Also, I like to fantasize about my dream home so:

Dinner with Friends in LA

So I have heard we have to try this restaurant: Wurstkueche

German and amazing, it sounds similar to the Linkery in North Park San Diego.

Paddle board (or buy one)

Because I want to look like I'm having this much fun...

House Warming Party

Can't have a party without a keg: (just kidding, you totally can)

and chocolate...and cheese...

Nekter juice bar

Apparently this Juice Bar is appearing all over the OC now, so of course I'm interested.

Bruxie

Because waffles- it's happening:

Umami

My favorite new burger place, just because they don't have a location in San Diego :(

Dinner in Laguna

Laguna Beach is fun, vibrant, a great place to walk around and has fantastic restaurants like Katsuya, Las Brisas, and so many delicious places I can't recall.

Huntington Library (Pasadena)

Because there are amazing gardens and art and I love revisiting old fieldtrip locations from elementary school and I haven't been there in forever. Going back to the Getty would be awesome too :)

So that's my list :) Happy Tuesday~

Easter ideas

Easter is coming up soon! So it's time for Easter ideas :)

Here's your obligatory photo of cute baby flemish giant rabbits

Brunch

Brunch places in San Diego

The Cottage

THE best brunch in la jolla, but they have long waits :(

Eclipse Chocolate Bar

They have decadent chocolate bacon, rose cardamon hot chocolate, and blueberry cream cheese french toast. YUM.

100 Wines in Hillcrest

They are the masters of the cheese and meat boards, and now they serve brunch too! :)

Estancia Hotel in La Jolla

One of the better brunches in La Jolla, they have an amazing buffet!

Easter Egg hunt

Some people will say this is just for kids, but you can invite friends over or even hide eggs for your dogs.  Or dye easter eggs!

Picnic

The weather is pretty nice here in California, so it could be time for a picnic :)

cheese, grapes chocolate and sandwiches are my go to picnic foods

Decorate for Spring

Here's some great ideas from Pier 1 that can all be Easter themed :)

Buy chocolate

A lot of people buy baby rabbits during Easter, but they grow up! Unless you're willing to commit to 10 years (the average lifespan of your indoor house rabbit), buy chocolate instead! See my how-to take care of a rabbit post to see what really goes into having a fur child, other than picking up poop.

And don't forget to eat some carrots :)
