July favorites

Hello all~

I didn't post that much this month, but here's my favorites from this month :)

enjoy!

This amazing baublebar necklace...pretty much everything on their website gets me.

hiking around Crystal Cove beach with Mr. Matt

paddleboarding with my cousins! fun fun :)

went to the spa at Pelican to get my nails done. didn't actually stay at the pool but it was sooo nice.

Temecula wine country time :) see my other post for cute photos (thanks maria for the photos! )

watching True Blood. (and Pretty Little Liars!)

Victoria Secret has finally made tshirts that are not sooo lowcut everyone can see everything. thank goodness! FINALLY.

I feel a shopping bug coming on...grad school still counts as "back to school" right?!

Best Spas I have been to

Wanted to give my review on spas I have been to that have the whole shebang: treatments, pools, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and of course teas and snacks, etc.

Here's some of the bestest spas ever I have been to:

The Bellagio spa in Vegas- quiet and fantastic.

the Four Seasons Bora Bora. ...yes it actually looked like this but not with the mountain in the background (it was there but the trees were too tall to see)

Caesar's Palace Spa in Vegas. an amazing Ice room

Caesar's Palace Spa in Vegas the pools -hot plunge, cold plunge and jacuzzi with heated stone seats and showers

Glen Ivy in Corona is amazing. There's a smaller location in Brea too at the mall
Here's a photo of the Glen Ivy underground Grotto where you get drenched in Aloe Vera oil and moisturize while you sit around and relax.

the JW Marriott in Palm Desert- also has an outdoor co-ed pool at the spa and a Hammam or second steam room and a great cafe for lunch.

Pelican is just...amazing and relaxing and there's a beautiful fountain in the relaxation room with tea and snacks.

Ritz Carlton Tahoe- thank goodness for marriott points: we were able to get the rooms for free for points. I would not have survived snowboarding over the weekend without the jacuzzi in the spa yeah.

So I guess I'm a spa addict?

Temecula Wine

Thank you Maria for these amazing photos! :)

Here's some fun photos from last week in Temecula:

Budget Breaker post July

I haven't wrecked my budget yet! But here's what I would wreck it on~

Other updates:
Had a great weekend last weekend: went to Temecula for wine tasting and went to the spa to relax and get my nails done.

This week: taking Chester to the vet for ear mites again :( poor bunny. he hasn't been on the mite medication for a good year and a half. maybe going to the fair on Sunday? I don't know.

I'm trying to keep to my budget, but here's things I want to buy:
-Dresses (always need more...)
-Boots
-Headphones (Frends specifically)
-Shirts that are work appropriate
-Purse (saw a good one on sale at Nordstrom Rack)
-Cute shoes at DSW (Gotta use my points lol)
-Baublebar necklace
-Makeup from MAC
-aerie everything

However, I still feel the need to clean out my closet and my entire life. ...when I don't clean the house it makes me crazy and I've been so busy it feels like it's a mess a lot :(

I have felt really uninspired lately/this week/this summer/etc... but here's some things that are tempting me to break my budget...

aerie scarf

aerie sweaters

bauble bar this

bauble bar that

bauble bar always

dress shirt from Halogen at Nordstrom

DSW Guess booties

Mac makeup

rebecca minkoff purses (even if they are on sale at Nordstroms Rack)

cute yellow tshirts from Caslon at Nordstrom

basically Nordstrom take all my money
