August Favorites

Wow, August flew by!

Last week of my internship was today :(

Anyways...

Here's some things I have been loving during August:

this wonderful scarf from Aerie- it was freezing in the office!

Other happenings:
-Got the worst food poisoning of my life at the beginning of August
-Guardians of the Galaxy in theatres was AMAZING
-Blue C Sushi was a fun new restaurant
-we visited Aerie and Stacked
-took the creatures to the vet to get their ear infections cleared up
-went to a noodle place for Matt's mom's birthday
-Went to SD for Alex & Maria's awesome engagement party
-took a bread baking class
-went to the coolest place for dinner: the Anaheim Packing house
-took Sidecar Doughnuts to work
-made a scrapbook for our honeymoon last March
-went with Matt's parents to Kimmie's coffee cup for brunch
-impromptu awesome Monday night visit from Al and Chris
-chronic tacos and Corona Del Mar beach

Looking forward to:
Matt's birthday dinner :) taking him to Old Vine Cafe in Costa Mesa

Everyone is trying to travel during the last hurrah of summer before fall, and I have the travel bug, so here's some interesting hotels I found online by Preferred Hotels:

saw this at Banana, cute but I have a similar dress at Madewell that I love and it shrunk in the wash :(

have a jacket similar to this from Target, and I need another one, I love it

so happy for fall, cold weather, dark clothing, and layers :D

Favorite Makeup Palettes

With the recent release of the new Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette, I was thinking about my favorite makeup palettes I have, and ones I currently want, here's some of them:

This is the limited Edition Bobbi Brown Sand Eye Palette at Sephora oooh~ pretty, don't have this one :(

Don't have this one either :( the chocolate bar by Too Faced, actually made with chocolate in it

I don't have this one either- The Lorac Pro palette that everyone on youtube raves about

I do have this one but I save it for special occasions :) the Marc Jacobs palette

and my everyday favorite- Naked 3 with rose gold tones

The Nars God Made Woman palette- I recently tried this one and like it, but the colors are very dark

and the Too faced Natural at Night palette- I have this one, but don't use this brand very often...I don't know why. I just like the urban decay metallic ones better ususally.

Aerie haul

Love going to my favorite store, Aerie! I had a 20% coupon so here's what I got:

I'm glad it's not close by, because every time we go to the one in Cerritos I need to budget (about every 6 months) because I always buy a ton of their stuff :) I love the Christmas cuddly pjs especially.

Aerie now makes body butter! yes! smells amazing and so hydrating :)

the nightgowns are so soft and comfy...even though I usually have to put a robe or a sweatshirt on around the house- it gets cold!
