Valentine Ideas

So here's my guide to a cute valentine's day and ladies: PLEASE get your guy something if he's going all out with roses and dinner (that stuff is expensive). Although, I feel like I should ask my folks what they do since it's also their anniversary and they've been married a looooong time.

Anyways, here's what I like about valentines:

I ordered chocolates for both of us to share which are coming in the mail today!!! yaye! (we ate the Victoria Secret ones last week. woops)

I tried to find a hotel using the Hotel Tonight app, but I couldn't find a good one in the area :( boohoo.

I also got jelly beans to share...they have beer ones now, yum! Also, our beer we made 4 weeks ago finally matured today, so we're going to drink some of it after dinner :)

I made Matt little love notes, my version of "open when" letters.

here's what they're supposed to look like, haha

matt got these amazing roses. We also went to Ralph's yesterday and dropped off flowers for my grammie and mom and dad. We gave matt's folks these really cute tulips on Chinese New Year.

Chester is so happy he finally has Daffy as a Valentine. Even if she was using him as a pillow before I took the photo!

We're going to this amazing Indian restaurant tonight. We went to one of their other restaurants in London and it was AMAZING.

Matt surprised me and got me this shirt. He was having a really tough time keeping the surprise when I went into Nordstrom and tried to look for it! Luckily they were out of stock in store so it worked out.

Valentine Haul

so here's a Valentine Haul from the last couple weeks...

used all my bauble bar points to get an amazing deal on this necklace (it's still in the mail)

got a valentine themed necklace from bauble bar as well (also in the mail)

 

this travel size new lotion from Bath & Body Works was free with my coupon :) 

Aerie had a gift with purchase, so of course it was valentine-themed underwear time. also 40% off everything in store and online! awesome

got this amazing dip dye shirt for 10 bucks.

this one was a little more, but super cute for traveling, summer, and wearing over a swimsuit

Victoria secret also had gift with purchase, and my favorite favorite set is the Dream Angels themed underwear (with a $10 off coupon! and a coupon for a free panty. yes lots of freebies this time of year)

here's a few more items that i did NOT buy, but really liked:

this embellished sweater from Topshop. then I saw the price- $100. ouch. :( but it's mint! so cute!

this amazing heart themed sweater from Chelsea28. also expensive at $70 boohoo :(

and this photo doesn't do it justice, but it's a long sweater from Topshop and it's really cute. I love the color, but I need to buy lighter colored clothing for summer...
