Month of July post

Hello everyone! I can't believe that July flew by so fast. I'm moving next week, and I couldn't be more excited to bring home a friend for Chester, start grad school, and pick a wedding dress (it takes six month to make them! wow!).

Anyways, craziness and chaos aside, here's some exciting things/happenings from July:

Shopping Haul and Summer July Update

Hello everyone, it's been a while!

I went on vacation and took some beautiful photos of scenery, but i'm really to blog about some hauls I have done (before and after the trip). Check out instagram for some Maui photos @casims89.

Disclaimer: I don't want to brag, I'm just really excited about new clothes/makeup and wanted to share.

There were some items I wanted to pick up, and here's what I got:

AE Striped dress with a coupon (I was joking that I looked like Lydia from Beetlejuice, but it will look great for fall)

MAC Lip set from the Nordstrom anniversary sale- woohoo! Their smoky eye set looks super cute too

Sanuk sandals (I need to replace my old ones which got soaked on the beach and at the pool during our trip, also they were 4 or 5 years old...)

Victoria Secret july sale- I picked up some Fabulous and Heavenly beach spray

PINK mini dog and water bottle, complimentary with a purchase

I needed black dress pants for any suits I have to wear going to grad school
Stopped by banana republic, but they have these same pants at the GAP- Sloan fit
TIP: DON'T FORGET your student discount! :) It's 10% and they are currently having a 40% off sale

This dress is gorgeous, also from Banana (yes, I am stripe obsessed)

Bath and body works Coconut water lotion and travel size spray

Bumble and bumble surf set (tried it as a travel shampoo/conditioner for the trip, it worked pretty well, but the conditioner didn't get all the tangles out and my hair was dry from the beach... but the smell is amazing!)

SPLURGE: First kate spade purse (at the nordstrom sale! ...although still expensive. boohoohoo)

Next week I'm moving to Orange County and we're bringing home a friend for Chester. She is too cute and her name is Daffodil :)

So yes, that is my current update. I will post an overall month of July post soon! So busy this week gearing up for our move! Looking forward to sitting in the Swingasan chair in the backyard with Chester and Daffodil when it's all over. Happy summer everyone~

New makeup products I want to try

Hey everyone! There's a few brands at Ulta, Sephora and Nordstrom that I am interested in, but never tried. Here's some products/brands I would like to try:
